ATHLETICS.
DOMINION CHAMPIONSHIPS. (By Telegraph—Press 'Association.) . Invercargill, January 18. At a meeting held here to-night the president .of tho Southland centre (Mr. J. Gow) presiding, preliminary arrangements were put in hand for the carrying through of the New Zealand amateur athletic championships which have this year been allotted to Invercargill. Mr. A. A. Cookeon was appointed secretary for the gathering.
