WELLINGTON CONCERTS.
Mr. Philip Newbury, in conjunction •with Madame Emily Spada, the American \ soprano, will inaugurate a series of popular shilling concerts at Iho Town Hall on Wednesday evening next. These concerts should prove to be popular in Wellington, as these two arlists will be supported by well-known singers and instrumentalists. Next Wednesday's programme will contain several fine operatic excerpts, in which Mr. Philip Newburv aml Madame Spada will have the greale.-'t scope, and ought lo bo heard at Iheir best. A limited number of reserved seats nra obtaiuablo at (he Dresden, and day sales at Christesen's. The full programme will appear in Wednesday's issue.
