Ilulhird and Young, M.l'.'s, will be the gaols of the evening. Canon I'ascor, vicar of Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Avonsido, has resigned his charge, owing to failing health. He has the second longest record of service in the diocese of Christehuroh, having begun his ministrations at Waimatc in 1871. He has been vicar of Avunside since 1880. —Press Association. Mr. !•'.
