FIRST ANNUAL SHOW'. j The first anuual show of the Rangi--1 tikei A. and I'. Association will be held f on the Recreation Grounds, Taihape, on * Wednesday, February 28,. and will be \ followed on the next day by the associas tion's first ram fair. Tho advent of the Upper Raugitikei district, as one of the " now fast-increasing A. and P. Show areas is quit* in the order of things, Taihape ranking with Feilding and U'aipukurau 1 as one of the largest live .stock centres in the North Island. A capital 'programme has been drawn up by the executive of the association, and its perusal niay.be confidently recommended to farmers' and , agriculturists. The prize list .includes 3 a fifteen-guinea challenge cup, presented by Mr. J. F. Studholme, patron of (he association, for the most points in Roml neys, to be won twice in succession or three times at intervals; a ten-guinea J cup is presented by the association for the most points in Hcrefords; a ten-gui- ' nea cup, presented by Jlr. A. E. Gibbons, in the jumping competition; and a fivel guinea trophy by Mr. J. Capell in homo 3 industries. Entries will close with tho 3 secretary, Mr. H. .laggard, Taihape, or D with secretaries of kindred associations B on February It, and for tho ram fair 5 on February 21.
