The outside of the ■ course ■ : proper and the tan' were the. tracks at the disposal of trainers. A large number of horses worked, but very few were extendcd'beyond from half to three-quarter pace. Indeed, the only "really/fast time was accomplished by Dearest (Hatch), who galloped four furlongs alone in s.oJsec. Fletcher, horse-trainer, appeared in answer to a Complaint made by the caretaker that he had sent a boy upon the course proper with a horso on the ■ morning of tho second day's racing, in contravention of a notice posted np. After hearing an explanation from both parties, it was re-olved that the stewards 6upport the caretaker's action, and accept the statement of Mr. Fletcher, that he did not see the notice. FIXTURES.
