Mr. G. G. Farland, who has been acting for the employees of the Harbour Ferries Company, and for the Federation of Labour, stated yesterday afternoon that lie had not then received a reply to his recent letter to the company, suggesting another conference. It is commonly accepted that, now that the watcrsiders' conference lias ended in a working agreement, negotiations will commence at once between the Federation of Labour and the Harbour Ferries Company, and that an agreement will probably be arrived at without much difficulty. ; Tho first number of the new military journal, which is to be conducted by the Training Branch at General Headffoarters as a medium of instruction, is now in the .hands of the Government Printer, and will be published shortly. .
