SERIOUS LOSS OF LIFE. 07 Telesrraph—Press' Association—Cons-right Berlin, January 15. Through the breaking of ice at lOmden, Hanover, skaters lvero precipitated into the River Ems. Twenty-seven bodies bavo been recovered. (Rec. January 16, 11 p.m.) Berlin, January 16. Fifteen skaters were drowned' in the neighbourhood of Berlin yesterday. The Emdeu accident nas exaggerated. The majority liavc been saved.
