A meeting of the Inaiigahua Miners' Union, regarding Die contract dispute submitted to th; Federation of Labour, received a report that the union had granted the contract on certain specification?, but the. New Bis River and Kc3p-It-Dark representatives had thrown in their lots with the Consolidated Group, and refused to accept any specifications that included sloping on contract, this the delegates refused to concede. Murray Creek miners agreeing -to th 2 union specifications were allowed 10. contract. A large.meeting, 180 being present, endorsed, recommendsd, aud unanimously refused to allow sloping on contract. The meeting was most orderly. The resolution largely withdraws the result of ths ballot, of miners, when tha contract'.system wa ; s ordered to be done away with last November. ' . •:■
