It was stated, that tlio defendant had been a past offender in this direction,, an<l he was fined 205., with .costs 75., in default 21 hours' imprisonment. On a similar charge Herbert Ell, with a previous conviction, was fined 10s., with costs v.s. , ... For allowing two cows to roam at large, Alexander Leo was fined 10s., with. 7s. cost?,. and Samuel Hunter, for permit- ■ ti'jijr his licrsp to wander, was fined ss. arid cost?. .. '. .
