At Trenthain, a strong -ear wind, with rain squalls, put high scaring out of tho question. Details of tho scoring are as follow.— KARORI RIFLE CLUB. Tho Suburbs Defence Rifle Club continued their trophy shooting on Saturday and Wednesday. The weather, conditions on Saturday were very bad, rain and wind making tlvinss very unpleasant for shooting. Tho dub propose holding a day's shooting at Trentham on January 22, in which the whole of tho club will «mi|>etr) for the "Daily Mail" Cup, which the club rcccnt.lv won outright some time back. Tho conditions for this cup are as follow—Seven shots at ranges 300, 500, MO, 800, 900, and 1000 yards, the highest aggregate in tho whole of these to hold . this cup for one year. It is open only to active members of the club. Two gold medals will bo presented, one for tho 300, 500, and GOO aggregates, tire other for the 800, 900, and 1000 aggregates. Also two valuable trophies will be presented to B Class shots BOTticipatins in this match. Honorary members arc eligible for all trophies excepting the. "Daily Mail" Cup.
