RE-ARRESTED ON GRAVE CHARGE
AFTER ACQUITTAL BY J.P.'S. (By Telccranb.—Presß Association.) Christchurch, January 13. James Russell, who, on Thursday, was charged at Amborlcy with tho manslaughter of Geo. Henry Shaw, at Leilhik>ld, on December 29 last, and the charge, against whom was dismissed by the Justices of the Peace who heard it, was arrested to-day, and brought before Mb, II; W. Bishop, S.M. Ho was again charged with manslaughter, and pleaded not guilty, and was remanded till January 18, to appear at Amberloy. Bail was fixed, accused in .1200 anil two sureties each of a similar sum. This was forthcoming. Tho prosecution is a private one, the in formation having been laid by David Shaw, father of deceased.
