— j. Captain Ponies held a parado_of.Territorial* and Cadets at Rangiivahia. They are described as "a tine lot of lads," and (so much more to the purpose)'everyone was accounted. for. A young people's "social" was given in St.. Paul's Schoolroom last evening to Mr. ft. H. Anker and Hiss Mills. There was a large gathering of teachers and members of tho choir and Biblo classes. During the courst* of tho evening Mr. Hugh M'lntyre, on behalf of the choir and toachors, presented a silver breakfast, dish to tho guests of (he evening as n wedding gift on the eve of their marriage, and, in making the presentation, Mr. M'lutyro referred to tho services of Mr. Anker and Miss Mills as tcachers and members of tho choir.
