VIOLENT STORM.
VINES AND OTHER FRUIT TREES DAMAGED. By Telegraph—Press Association-Copyright (Rec. January 9, 0.25 a.m.) Sydney, January 8. A destructive storm has occurred in the Mudgee district with hailstones measuring three and a half inches in circumference. A large area of vines and other fruit trees, also of pumpkins, have been destroyed.
