AT NGATAPA. (By Toicerssh.—Prcsa Association,! . Glsborne, January 8. The Ngat&pa acconnnodatiou-houso of 19 rooms, occupied by Mr. Greayos, was destroyed by iirc to-day. Tho iiiinates liad a narrow escape. The insurances arc not available.
AT PONSONBY. Auckland, January 8. A fire broko out in a nine-roomed , boardinghouso in Arthur l'onsonby, owned and occupied by Mrs. Alexander Coutts, last night. lTouv rooms were gutted, and the remainder nnich damaged. Tho house and contents were insured for .£SOO.
• AT MANAKAU. Levin, January 8. A house at Manaknu, occupied by J. W. Bolton, was completely destroyed with its contents this morning. The insurance on tho liouso was t -E3SO in the 'State. ()llici>. It has not bwn ascertained .if the furniture was insured.
