DECEMBER GRADING EETTJENS. DECREASE FOR THE TEAK.Thc number of bales of hemn graded at the various, ports in tlio Dominion during December was 8120, as compared with 13,233 for tho corresponding month of last year, a decrease of 51li). For the twelve months ending December 31 tho number of bales graded was as compared with 130,419 for the previous twelve months, the decrease being 42,f1"(i bales. Of last month's total, 85 bales were graded line, 3i27 good-fair, 4500 fair, 70 common, and 23 wen; rejected. The Wellington figures were: Fine 1-1, goodfair 1998, fair 1490, common 40, rejected i, or a total of 3550. "Foxton gayo a total of 3329, made up as under:—r'iue G, good-fair 1173, fair 2115, common 22, Tejected 13. During the month 2306 bales were dealt with, as compared with 4328 for the corresponding mouth of last year, a decrease of 2022 bales. There were 813 bales first grade 1362 second grade, 283 third grade, and 18 (all from Wellington) condemned.
