CARTERTON NOTES.
Tho Hev. C. Armstrong, of Australia, accompanied by Mrs'. Armstrong ahd , child, is at present on a visit here. Mr. Armstrong is on two months' furlough,, and, before returning to Australia, will visit Rotorua. Last week the Carterton branch of the Wairarapi Egg Circle dispatched nearly 250 dozen eggs to the Wellington agent'. The dairy. factories in this' district last week dispatched- the following Iquantitics of cheese for shipment Home:—Daleficld, 450 cases; Parkralc, 240; Carrington, Rli; and Longbush 10, making a total of, SltJ cases.
