SOME HIGH-BRED VISITORS. TIIO batch of pedigree imported by the (.loveniment tor the Jlotimaliaki Statu .Farm came duly to hand yesterday by the Delphic, and' wore met by the manager of the farm, and several officials of the Agricultural Department. The cattlt—a bull and six heifers—should make their mark in the future Ayrshire, stock of the Dominion. They were all selected 011 milking performance by ll>. Jas. Dimlop, the Scottish Agricultural Commissioner, who is one of the leading men in connection with the milk-testing work with Ayrshire herds in Scotland.

The bull of the little herd, Netherton Good Bonus, is a brown and white animal bred by Mr. Thos. Clement, Netherton, Newton Mearns. His sire is Auchenbrain. Good Gift, by Monkland Guarantee, out of Auchenbrain Favourite Beauty 2nd. The new arrival's dam was Netherton Bunny, by Auchenbrain Crusader, out of Buntie !)th of Auchenbrain. Of the heifers Dalniusteniock White Blair -4th is a whit*; with dark brown cheeks, and sho was bred by_Mr. .Tas. Garven, Dalmasternock, I'emvick, Ayrshire. The second, I'arkheml Dcwdrop, is a white with brown spots, bred by Mr. J. I'. Younf, Fenwiek. Another brown and whito is Latisjdyko Sully sth, bred by Mr. .T. Douglas, of Fenwiek. The fourth heil'er, l'enwick Cherry, is a .marled brown and white, and with another of the new arrivals, a brown aiul white named East Newton Beauty, was bred bv Messrs. J. and M. Howie, of Newmitns. Ayrshire. Tho last of the batch is l'enwick Maggie, another brown ami white, bred by Mr. Andrew Lindsay, of Haysniuir, Stewarton, Ayrshire. The cattle "will be removed to Somes Island this morning to undergo the necessary term in quarantine.
