The executive of the General Federation of Trade Unions has summoned a national conference for Thursday, to consider proposals in connection with a campaign against non-unionists, described to bo more drastic than anything hitherto attempted by organised labour. The miners have begun a ballot on tho question of a national stoppage of work to enforce the fixing of a minimum wage for underground labour.
