The castaways of tho wrecked Norwegian ship Askoy arrived at Sydney. Describing their trying experience they, state that they spent fivo day? and nights in open boats which were leaking to such an extent that it was necessary for a man to bo bailing continuously. The morning after tho x\skoy struck, the crew formed a deputation to the captain asking him to abandon the ship, but he refused. A second and a third deputation were likowiso refused. It was not until afternoon that orders were given to man tho lifeboats.
