A ballot of tlio whole of the membori of the Auckland Tramways Union,' as to whether- the proposals of the company, as amended, should be accepted us an agreement, was taken to-day, when JUS votes were given for the proposal and 63 against it. Thi9 settles the question of a strike, and the agreement, subject to some minor alterations, will be signed as soon as it is ready for presentation to the union representatives.
