TOKOMARU, FROM MONTREAL. An early arrival in port yesterday morniug was tho steamer Tokomaru of the Siiaw, Savill, and Albion Line, and at pretout under charter to the New Zealand Shipping Co. in the Eastern Canadian trade. At 6.40 a.m. the Tokomaru bcrtliedat Ko. 14 Jervois Quay to discharge tho Wellington portion-of her-Montreal cargo. The vessel arrived at if.qntr.cal from London ou'Oetbbof S. At .tho" Canadian port a. full- cargo - v,-as loaded, it being found necessary to leave ii-quantity of goods on - the' wharf.' Montreal e left on October 22,' and moderate weather was experienced until the vessel ncared the Australian .coast, and thence strong winds, with considerable sea, till arrival at Melbourne on December 16. ARBIVAIi OF THE AORANGI. Well up to lime the Union Company's R.M.S. Aorangi, Captain G. Ferguson, arrived at Wellington from San Francisco, via way ports, yesterday. The purser (Mr. Scott) reports that the Aorangi left Sau Francisco on December 13, at noou, and arrived at Papeete on December 24 at 5.30 p.m. She continued her journey to Rarotouga the following day at 3 p.m., and arrived at 1 p.m. on December 27. Earotonga was left at 3.30 p.m. on December 28. arrival being made at Wellington at 5.30 a.m. yesterday. The Aoi'angi berthed at the Queen's Wharf No. 6 at 8.25 Throughout the passage Dno weather (with the exception of rain showere at Papeete and Rarotonga) was experienced. The vessel had light uorth-east trades on tho run down to tho "line," thence south-east winds onwards. THE STAR OF CANADA. This morning the Tyser liner Star of Canada if expected at Wellington from London, via. way ports. On arrival she berths at the Queen's Wharf No. 1 South to discharge 700 tons of cargo. Loading operations will be commenced at Guborne, for which port the Star of Canada leaves Wellington on Sunday. ■JIAHEBE SAILS AT DArBREAK.
