A British, French, and Russian syndidate is subscribing .£IOO,OOO for the purpose of finally surveying railway connection between Russia and India, via Persia, materially shortening the journey to Australia, New Zealand, aud India. It is proposed to enter the British sphere at Bander Abbas, a seaport'on tho Persian Gulf, aud join the railways at Karachi, in India.
