"Tho Times," in its educational supplement, sharply criticises the l.'nivcrsity of New Zealand on the lines of tho University Association's complaints. Mr. J. Joynt, Professor Sale, and the Rev. Henry Major (formerly of Auckland) have written ietters justifying tho system of selecting examiners, and the valuo of New Zealand degrees.
