OBITUARY.
Br relesrwDh—Fro3s Asßociation-Cosjrlcht London, January 2. Dr. James Oswald Dykes, M.A., D.D., is dead Dr. Dykes was 76 years of age. He entered the Presbyterian Ministry in 1859, and two years later became colleague of the famous Dr. Candlish, at Free St. George's, Edinburgh. After a sojourn in the colonics for tho sake of his health he became minister of Regent Squaro Church, London. In 18ts8 he was appointed principal of tho Presbyterian College at Cambridge, which position he held for 19 years, until his resignation in 1907. Ke has published a number of religious books.
