A DECLINE FOR' THE YEAR.
The amount of gold exporter! from the Dominion during the year 1011 totalled ■155,26!) ounces, valued at .£1,817,316. In 1!I10 the export was -478,288 ounces, valued at .C 1.896.325. There was thus a decrease last year of 23,0.1!) ounce?, valued at •£79,012. The silver exported during 1911 amounted to 1,310,106 ounces, valued at .£131,517. During 1910, 1,711,235 ounce* valued at ,£171,062, wera exported. There was thus a decrease last year of -JOO,S°O ounces, valued at .£10,013.
The gold export for tho month of December, last; totalled .'1,'t,059 ounces, valued at .£129,922. Tho export for Dcccmb-r 1910, was 37,599 ounces, valued at .£150,501,■ so that there was a decrease for the- latter month of 1450 ounces valued at ,£20,579.
