OTAGO TOURNAMENT. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) Dunedin, January 2. The Otago Golf Club's annual tournament was continued to-day. Heavy rain fell Just night and this morning,' with the result that tko course was very heavy. The weather improved, however, as the day wore on, and in the afternoon it was- very fine. In the semi-final of the amateur championship of Otngo Mr. B. J. Smith beat Mr. J. H. Potheringham, G up and i to play, and Dr. beat Mr. A. F. Roberts, Gup and 5. In the final Smith beat Ross, 1 up, and retained the championship. The Foursomes Bogey Handicap was won by Mncfarlnne and Ferguson, and in the Medal Handicap, Holmes and J.'H. Galo tied, with net scores of SO.
