Carterton Wedding. : Tho marriage' took place -last week at Carterton of Miss Alma Jensen, third daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew 'Jensen, -of Taut;uva Island, and Mr. Egar Mason, sou.of the late Mr. Hosea Mason, of Holmptou, England. The brido .wore a pretty frock of whito crystaliuo with silk lace trimmings and a tullo veil and wreath of orange blossoms. 'Sho-carried,; a bouquet- of cream roses and maiden-' hair ferns. The bridesmaids, Miss Vera Hunter, cousin of the bridegroom,' '• and iliss. Myrtle Jensen, sister of the bride, wore' white dresses with hats to match. They also carried roses. Mr. Daniel .lonsen was host man, and Elder J. \V. Wallace was ' groomsman. Tho bridegroom's gift to tho brido was a travelling case, and hers in return a gold albert. His gifts to the bridesmaids wero gold brooches, set with.pearls. ;Anglo-New Zealand Wedding. ) A .weeding' of- much interest to New Zcalandei'S took place recently at the Catholic Church at Wimbledoni when Miss Marjorie Perceval was married to Lieutenant Cecil James Crocker, R.N.,.0f .his Majesty's yacht Alexandra. The bride's father,- Sir Westby Brook Perceval, K.C.M.G., though a Tasmanian by birth, received his education at Christ's College, Christchnrch, iS T ew Zealand, and married a- Aew Zealand lady, a daughter of the Hon. John Johnston, M.L.C., of ' After practising for some {'time as a barrister in Christchurch, ho was appointed Agent-General for New Zealand in London from IS9I to 1596, and ho has - written a numbel - . of: books on iNew Zealand'• products, etc.-.' The bridesmaids, of whom thero were five, tho Misses Maxwell Scott, Susan Kenyon, Alice Eyre, Beryl Browne, and Dorothy Thornton, .were in white satin under, ohiffou. and Mechlin-face. :■ '.--.V.i.. The bride's train was carried by a small niece and nephew Doreen and Anthony Lloyd, tho former in a white ichiffou dross and a mob cap; tho latter.in a sailor suit,' and two other children," Thomas and Margaret Grace, dressed similarly.. The aisle of tho church was lined,' during the ceremony, by forty bluejackets from the Alexandra, the same gallant company drawing the carriage containing the' bridal pair from • tho church to Southdown, where Lady Perceval held a reception. The 'groomsmen, of. whom: there were five, were ,allin as was the bridegroom also. They were Lieutenants Robert Dalglish, Clement Head, E, Parker, E. J. H. Jones, and lieutenant tho Hon. Bertram Mitford, the best man. Rhodesian Wedding. On September 2S,' at Salisbury, Rhodesia, by special license, Mr. Paul Ewart Frankau, second son of the lato Arthur Frankau, and of Mrs. Julia Frankau, 61,' Grosvcnor Street, W., to Miss Frances Ulica. de Burgh, eldest daughter of Mr. Samuel' Bradshaw Miller, Te Puke; New Zealand. Mr. and Mrs. Coleridge havo gone to Muritai for a few weeks, where they havo taken a house on the beach.
