The weather was fine and the wicket good for the continuation of the match between Victoria and New South Wales. The* New South Welshmen completed their first innings for 341, the principal scores being: Emery, 43; Bardsley, 34; Kellewny, 101; Trmnper, 58; Gregory, 3D; a.nd 8a.rb0ur,.27. Bardsley retired hurt, a fast ball of Armstrong s striking his side and tearing away the cartilage of tho lower rib. He will be unable to play further'in the present match, and probably not in the nest Test match. (Bee. December 27, 0.3S a.m.) Melbourne, December 26. The bowling analysis for the New South Wales innings is as follows:—-Mat-thews, three wickets for 63 runs; Hartkoff, two for 20; Armstrong, one for 24; Macrow, one for 87; Kyle, one for 109.
