EASY WIN FOR SOUTHLAND. (By Teieeiouh.—Pres3 Assoelatloß.l Invarcargill, December 26. The Hawke Cup match was continued to-day in perfect weather, but the play ■was .disappointing, South Canterbury collapsing before tho Southland attack, and lieing all out in the second innings for 54. Southland had no difficulty in knocking up the 40 odd runs required, and won easily by ten wickets, thus retaining the nip. Scores:— South Canterbury—First innings: 111. Second innings: T. W.
