Tho machine-shearing championship of the world, for si etako of .£IOO, fifty sheep to bo shorn, was contested to-day between' Dan Cooper, of New South Wales, claimant, and world's champion, and Bill Day, of South Australia. Day finished in 103J minutes, and Cooper 3J minutes later, but Cooper was awarded the championship on points.
