Tho engine "kicked" thn carriages c ear, but, owing to the points not; being cleared, they ran back on (o the same line, and collided heavily with a train Vm mis sti " ulil, B at '■ho station platform. Iho passengers on tho train received a shock, and a little girl who was in the act of stepping on to the train was thrown on to the platform. Fortunately nobody was injured, but the hand-rails and buffers of tho trains wero twisted and broken.
