Workmen excavating on the bc-ich at Clacton bare found the lower jaw of ai\ elephant, pATt of the backbone of an elephant, and the antlers of a red deer. A cemetery formed, it is believed, nearly 2000 years ago, hns been discovered it Dumpton, Isle of Thanet, and skeletons In s. good c-tate of Dresarration were found.
