MAJOR DREYFUS.
CASK AGAINST A NEWSPAPER. By Telecrapi—Press Association- ConvrlzM Paris, December 21. The Appeal Court has confirmed the verdict obtained by Major Dreyfus against tho newspaper "Action Francais" in February last. This journal, which is the organ of tho Camelots du Roi, failed to publish Major Dreyfus's replios to articles which it had published rcflccting upon him. Its proprietors noro sentenced on two counts to pay a fine of _£1G and damages amounting to ,1:112, and to publish tho text of the jndgmout as well as Major Dreyfus's letters. Tho Court of Appeal, in reunposmg the fine, lias ordered the widespread publication of tho verdict.
