SCHOONER CLYDE WRECKED.
-o AT THE MACQUATUE ISLANDS. (By re!oEMDli.-Pi'"s! Associating! Invercargill, December 21. A Hohart cable message (o Mr. Joseph Hatch, the owner, states that the schooner Clyde has been wrecked at the Macquaries. All hands were saved, and returned to Hobart by the Antarctic tender vcswl Toroa, which also brought up 359 casks of oil. The Clyde was purchased in Wellington last August, and this was her first, trip to the Macqunrios. She was not insured' for the trip. without: power. Captain V,'. Smith was in command. An inquiry lias been opened ut Hobart.
