It is proposed that the 220 yds. race at tho championship meeting will b« run on a special track, avoiding the mound in front of tho stand, and giving a better turn. _ Most of the Australian representatives to compete, at the meeting arrived by the Warrimoo from Sydney last night. Following were the members of tho teams who arrived :— New South Wales.—P. T. Redmond, .T. W. Eraser, Denis Lane, J. J. Harloy, E. A. Southee. W. T. Patterson, Georgoßamfort, and Mr. G. P. fi.- Parko (manager)./ Queensland.—D. M'Grath, T. Francis, and R. T- O. Ronv.ick. Mr. M'Grath also nets -as manager of the team. Victoria.—Erie Russell, Kelly. J. Burton, W. H. Kaiehlin, and Mr. Basil Parkinson (manager).
