FIRE AT PETONE.
4 At about two o'clock this morning a boatshed on tho Petone beach, in which V'f as the racing yacht Huia, owned by Mr. Richard Jenkins, of Petone, was, with its contents, completely destroyed J?J" The outbreak was first noticed from the Gear Company's engine-room, ana although the alarm was promptly given and the Petone Fire Brigade was soon on the scene, it was too lafe to get the yacht out oi tho shed.
