At the breaking-up" of tho Mount Cook Boys' School last week, the following ivcro awarded- proficiency certificates:— W. Armstrong, C. Barclay, R. Blair, L. Boguuda, F. Brandeis, 0. Butler, J. Urownlee, D. Crawford, A. Cameron, J. Chapman, W. Caddick, C. Davis H Etevenoanx, C. Forrest, N. Fuller, R. Fraser, A. Grant, G. Hill, A. Humphreys, L..Leslio, W. Levy, H. Mountier, C. Pilling, L. Purdey, L. Parsloe, P. O'Neill, S Scott, C. Tod, V. Tremain, A. Wilson, G. Wilson, T. Megann, G. Tiorney. Soventy-eight boys-neaily a qiiarler of tho school—obtained first-class attendance certificates, not having missed one attendance. ■ The boys were congratulated on their success in the field of sport during the year. Both the senior and junior cricket championships -were .won, each team- winning ten matches without, a loss.
