Several changes were, made in the English team sinco tho first tost, tho men being drawn from fewer clubs, and thus securing better combination. The colonials were chiefly on the defensive for the first half, England showing fino passing and handling. WngstaCe scored an unconverted try, and Frawley also scored. Russell foiled to convert. Lor.as and Wagstaffe. then added tries, one of which was converted. The colonials wore-'tackling well, and Francis just missed a goal from a freekick. At half-time England were eleven and Australasia three. The colonials showed great da6h in the 'second spell, and constantly attacked. M'luvat scored,. and Francis, kicking from an awinvaril angle, missed the'shot. Russell- then crofted, and Francis converted. Thence onwards it was a hard fame,' but there was no further, Score.
