Ijccmcavallo has completed a new opera' entitled "La Forcstn Marmora" (The Forest Murmurs). This opera is to be produced in Xc.v York this season, together with a one-act opera of his ent'tlwl "La Koine des Hoses." 'Whether' either of these work.-' will prove as popular as "f'agliacci" is a matter which only time can decide. .So far only one other of his works has been heard out of Italy with any continuity, and that is his "Roland of Ilerlin." which has ken heard quit© often in tho Ucrinan capital.
