Tho King, wearing tho robes of the Star of India, invested the Queon with tho Grand Cross of the Order, and a picturesque ceremony lasting two hours followed, ninety-three Knights and two hundred Companions and members of different orders being decorated. Tho Delhi correspondent of "The Times" says that it is noticeable that the overwhelming .importance of the change of capital from Calcutta to Delhi is not fully grasped, oven by prominent administrators.
