o MORE UPROAR IN PARLIAMENT. By Telograph-Press Assoclatlon-OoDrneht Sydney, December 15. Tho Assembly was still discussing the Estimates at an early hour this morning. Tile item "Speaker's salary" occasioned long and strong opposition. Comment on tho Speaker's alleged misdeeds led to uproar, members hurling uncomplimentary epithets across tho Chamber. For a while the Doputy-Chairinan of Committees was unable to control members. Finally the item was forced through by tho application of tho closure. In tho Legislative Council the Government representative announced that it was not intended to proceed with tho Stamp Duties Bill until the Houso meets in February. The question whether the Government could constitutionally tax boat fares had been raised, and tho Government announced that it wonld await the Crown Law Officers' opinion.
