Mr?srs. Dalgety ami Co., Md., report having held their usual stock yalo at Ongaonga yesterday, where they otVcred a •fair yarding of sheep and cftttlc to a small attendance of the public. Daliroty and Company, Limited (Paimerston North 'branch) report:—At oiir Taihape sale, on Wednesday, a very good yarding of both sheep and cattle came to hand, practically the whole 4of which wore disposed of at the following prices:—Sheep: Cull - mixed hogpct; s , IC*. 6d.: aged ewes, with small percentage of lambs. 10s. IC<l.;' fat and forward ewes, to lis.: two-tooth wethers, to lis. lid.; four* tooth to f.f.m. woolly ewes, small, 12s. lCd.; four-t-ooth fat and forward wethers, to 13.5. Bd. for good line. Cattle: Yearline heifers, £2 135.; small yearling steers, £2 175.; empty store cows, £3, £3 Is.; bulls, to £3 2fl. 6d.; cows and calves, £4 lCs. to £5 55.: two-year steers, £4; two to two and a half-year steers, £4 65., £4 113. 6d., to £4 14s. fid. A team of three draught horses, dray, and harness realised £142 10s.
