TRAGEDY IN MELBOURNE. Br Tele E raph-PrcE« ABsociation-Copyriehl Melbourne, December 13. A shooting tragedy is reported at Albert Park, where Joseph Pfeffor shot his sister-in-law, Florence Whitley, dead. Hβ had been paying her unwelcotno attentions for a considerable time, and tho giri recently sought police protection. Pfeffer entered the houso whero Miss Whitley was employed. Sho wa3 sitting at dinner. Ho put his arm round lier neck. The mistress of tho house was alarmed, and rushed out. Tho ehootinc immediately followed. Pfeffer surrendered to tho police.
