LIEGE BOMB OUTRAGE.
VICTIMS LEG'S BLOWN OFF. By Teleeraiili—i'ress Association—Cooyrichl Brussels, December 12. The bomb which exploded in a picturo theatre at Liego as reported yesterday, was filled with nails. Some of tho victims' legs were blown off. Altogether fifty wero injured. SUPPOSED PERPETRATOR DIES. (Rec. December 12, 11 p.m.) Brussels, December 12. A man named Verveck, supposed to be the author of tho Liego outrage, has died of his wounds received at the time of tho explosion. ' x « Tho bomb was loaded with gunpowder and chlorate. The victims mostly belonged to the working class and included many girls. The incident has aroused fears of a renewal of the outrages of seventeen years ago when Liege was a centre of Anarchism.
