The, ©lections last week did not interfere with - .shearing operations. The quantity of wool sent away was 253 bales— the greatest. this season so far for one week. This is tho off season for sheep, only 2500 head having been trucked away in the week. Butter is coining in iu largo quantities. Mr. <..Tohn Prouse, of Wellington (baritone), Mr. Sydney Butler, of,-Wanganui (tenor), and Madame Emily Brings, of -Wanganui (soprano) are the principals atthe production of "The Creation,"-, by' 'tho Feilding Choral Society on Friday next.
