HIGHEST TEMPERATURE SINCE 1909. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Sydney, December 11. There is no break in tho heat wavo. Ninety-two degrees was registered in the city yesterday. (Kec. December 11, 8.55 p.m.) Sydney, December 11. To-day was the hottest day sinoo December IM)9. Tho temperature reached 101 degrees in tho shade, and a scorching wind was blowing. Numbers of bush fires were reported in tho outer suburbs. There is great heat in the interior and many registers of over 100 degrees ore reported. Numerous bush fires have occurred.
