RELIGIOUS CRANK IN TROUBLE. By Teleeraiih-Proes Aessoia.tion-Ooi7:1*hl New York, December 10. At Portland, Maine, Frank Sandford, leader of the Tloly Ghost and Us Society, was convicted on a charge of causing tho deaths of six persons aboard the yacht Coronet.
It was alleged (hat Sandford allowed tho yacht to proceed on a voyage when the vessel had not been supplied with the necessaries of life. Sandford refused legal defence, declaring that God was the only defence he needed.
