Holms (Waimahaka. Holstein-I'Yiosians: Mr. Vt. J. Dew (iS r ormanby). Fat cattle: - Mr. W. Ilirdling CWnitara). Pigs: Mr. J. 0. Uatchclor (Palmerston North). Lincoln slieep: Mr. C. T. Barnbull (Waiuku). Komney Marsh: Mr. E. Short (Feilding). Downs: Mr. W. B. Andrew, jun. Sputlibridgo (fats and freezers): Mr. L. C. Gardiner (Kiccarton). Dairj- produce: Mr. W. Graham (Carterton). Agricultural produce: Mr. J. E. Macassey (Napier). Vegetables: Mr. W. A. Ta(o (Greytown). Flowors: Mr. T. Norton (Hastings). Bread, scones, cakes, etc.: Miss Talbot.
Tho freezing works at Longburn were to start tho season's operations yestorday. Thero will be from' 70 to 80 men employed through the busy soa.=on. Most of those men take other employment in tho off season and arc scattered over the country, bnt they conic bock when the works open again ajid make good wages.
