RESULTS OF SATURDAY'S PLAY. The interest in bowls is working up as the date of the big Northern Eowliug Association's tournament approaches, and ou every green links are being formed up to take part in the carnival, which promises to be the biggest affair of the kind ever held in Wellington. Thanks to pleuty of rain, the greens are looking at their very best, and there is every prospect of the - championships being fought out under perfect conditions. Uvea the new greens show quality beyond their years, speaking volumes for the caro that is being bestowed upon them. Tho following aro the results of Saturday's games:— WELLINGTON CLUB. Johnsonville: Russell, Schlaich, Harnip, Bonld (s.), 10; Wellington: Price, Wylie, Knnnp, Thompson (s.), 23. johnsonville: Rod, Ferguson, Jerusalem, Taplin (s.), G; Wellington: Muir, Waddell, M'Lcan, Roberts (s.), 24. The semi-finals in the Club Pairs' match were played. Richards and Bell beat Hildreth and Frost, and Mans , , and Fall beat Grenfell and Veitch. The winners will play tho fiual this week.

VICTORIA CLUB. A seven-rink, friendly game was played with Kelburne on Saturday.
