DISTRICT REPORTS. (From our Special Correspondents.) Otaki, December 9— Tho weather is chnuKeitblc—wind and rain. Sihannou, December 9.—Tlw weather is Ivild and wet. Talmerston North.—A thunderstorm passed over J'almerston about, 10 o'clock on Saturday moraine, followed by heavy rain for an hoiir, after which it cleared un. but a howling, gale then took charge. Today is hue, but very windy. Feildiiiß,—December 10.—Saturday morning opened fine. There was u sudden dianse at 10 a.m. to hoary rain, which stopped cricket, tenuis, find bowling engagements. It was a fina niijht. Sunday wns a fine day. but a strong westerly wind is still blowing. I'catherston, December 9.—Stormy and unsettled weather, with heavy 3f.\V. wind in tho moniinc The weather cleared during the afternoon. Grcytown, December 9.—Tho weather is still windy, and to-rtay there has been ,a few showers.
